THE ANALYSIS OF READING TASK IN “LOOK AHEAD” TEXTBOOK FOR TENTH GRADE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BASED ON BLOOM TAXONOMY
Abstract
This study aims at describing the comprehension questions on every reading text in theLook Aheadfor Tenth Grade Senior High School and analyzing the comprehension questions on every reading text based on the level of understanding of bloom taxonomy
The type of the study is descriptive qualitative study. The object of this study is reading questions presented in of the Look Aheadfor Tenth Grade Senior High School. In this research, the researcher finds that every level of comprehension exist in the textbook. He concluded that the level comprehension’s question of bloom taxonomy which are given on this reading textbook are knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. 50,9 % of the question dominate on the knowledge, 21,4% of question is comprehension, 0,8% of question is aplication.13,9% is analysis,3,2% belongs to synthesis and the rest 9,8% belongs to evaluation. It means that the exercises on the reading text developed in Look Ahead for Tenth Grade senior High School are categorized in middle cognitive domain
