PRO KONTRA SINONIMI DALAM AL-QUR’AN

Abstract

Abstract: Synonimy and meaning construction have close relationship. By using substitution method, the implementation of synonymy concept to interpret the Holy al-Qur’an will effect the product interpretation. Based in this idea, the interpreter of al-Qur’an have different arguments to accept and to refuse the synonimy. The core of differences are pro synonimy and contradictory synonimy of al-Qur’an. The reasons are linguistic paradigm, while the interpreters also argue about the knowledge of interpreter and the theology arguments. Based on the linguistic view, the scholars have different idea  about philosophical meaning of language or pragmatic meaning. Related to the interpreting, the scholars have differences about the meaning by synonymy, while from the theology view they are different to express the exist of God. Based on the different paradigm of synonymy, the concept of synonymy partially is possible to be the point to formula the interpretation method of the Holy al-Qur’an.

Abstrak:  Sinonimi dan konstruksi makna memiliki hubungan yang erat. Dengan metode subtitusinya penerapan konsep sinonimi dalam penafsiran al-Qur’an dapat berdampak pada produk tafsir. Dari sini di kalangan pakar tafsir terdapat perbedaan pendapat mengenai penerimaan atau penolakan terhadap sinonimi ini. Mainstreamnya ada dua macam yaitu pro sinonimi dan kontra sinonimi dalam al-Qur’an. Argumentasinya selain argumentasi linguistik, para pakar tafsir ini juga mengangkat argumentasi ilmu tafsir dan bahkan argumentasi teologis. Dari sudut pandang linguistik para pakar ini berbeda dalam memaknai bahasa secara filosofis atau praktis, dari sudut pandang tafsir diantaranya mereka berbeda dalam memaknai cakupun definisi sinonimi sedang dari sisi teologis terdapat perbedaan sudut pandang dalam memaknai ekspresi ketuhanan. Dari pro dan kontra sinonimi ini, maka konsep sinonimi parsial dapat menjadi sintesa dalam merumuskan  metode penafsiran al-Qur’an.
